How Does the Program Work?
1. Decide your organization is going to hold the fundraiser. A start-up kit is given to your organization’s chairperson. The kit includes flyers, collection envelopes, order forms, and a cover letter that explains the details of the fundraiser.
2. Each participant then takes the information to their friends, neighbors, co-workers and relatives to create sales. Participants record sales on the brochure. Orders are tallied on the order forms and collection envelopes.
3. Participants collect the money when they take the order. All checks or money orders are made out to the organization (check is made out to the organization so they have their profits upfront) and are placed into the collection envelope.
4. Your organization's Chairperson turns in the orders to Mountain State Meats and Catering. You then have three additional days to add to your orders. After the three day extension, no additional orders will be received. When turning in orders, Chairperson makes out a check to Mountain State Meats and Catering for the remaining order amount.
5. An order pickup day is determined for two weeks later. Your organization's participants can come into the Meat Market to pick up orders, or you can have orders delivered to a location and coordinate pick up. We recommend the Meat Market in order to ensure the meat is kept at the appropriate temperature. If your organization chooses a different location than the Meat Market, Mountain State Meats and Catering is not responsible for any spoilage that may occur after delivery.
How Does My Organization Earn Money?
For each item that is sold, your organization earns a flat amount. The more you sell the higher that amount is. Please see the pricing chart and list of products. So for example, if your organization sells 45 Deep Fried Turkeys, 60 Whole Country Hams, Bone In, 50 Spiral Honey Hams, and 25 Medium Rib Roasts, your organization would earn $1700.00 cash!

How Does the Program Work?

2. Each participant passes out the business card size tickets to their friends, neighbors, workplace and relatives to invite them to come on your organizations Meat Market Day.
3. On your organizations Meat Market Day, for every person that comes in with the ticket or mentions your organization, we will donate back 5% of the total sales minus sales tax.
How Does My Organization Earn Money?
Mountain State Meats and Catering staples the sales receipt to the ticket your participant brings in. We will have additional tickets on hand in case someone forgets theirs. At the end of the Meat Market Day(s), Mountain State Meats and Catering will total the amount of sales. A check will be made out to your organization and mailed to the chairperson within two weeks of the end of your Meat Market Day!
